Over the past few months we have been working with Crossref, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) to build a hub for publishers with limited resources or little experience, to easily discover resources from each of the organisations in one place. It's appropriately named Publishers Learning & Community Exchange (PLACE) and is intended to make publishing a more equitable space.
Publishers with limited resources, whether that is time or financial resources, or with little publishing experience, will find that PLACE is a source of relevant information and a community network.

- how metadata connects scholarly work and how to use it
